My coworker and I were on a business trip in Eureka, Nevada, when a young driver T-boned our brand new Volkswagen CC rental car with his 1970’s Ford 150 truck. He literally proceeded into oncoming traffic without looking where he was going and we didn’t even see him coming. It’s a miracle that my coworker was not hurt, and our rental car was totaled. Being out of town, in a small remote town, and on a business trip, we were definitely out of our element.  The sheriff who came to assist was nothing short of amazing and he helped us through a rather difficult situation.
