I knew I was having a miscarriage and the doctors had sent me home to “let nature take it’s course”. That evening, I began bleeding profusely and it became uncontrollable to the point that my husband called 911. My daughter was little at the time and I did not want to frighten her, so we requested no light and sirens. They complied. I became semi conscious at the point the EMS team got to my house. I remember three of them and a police officer, all surrounding me and working to make sure I wasn’t afraid. I recognized one of them as a client of mine and I recall him especially making me feel at ease. They worked so quietly and effectively that my little girl had no idea what was happening. I am forever grateful to them. They saved my life. To any and all Emergency Responders and LEO’s: please know YOU MATTER; YOU’RE IRREPLACEABLE AND YOU ARE LIFE CHANGERS. ❤️
