Most recently, my 11 year old son was having abdominal pains and flu like symptoms. Fast forward to a trip to the closest emergency room at a hospital that did not have pediatric facilities. My son was given an IV and we were told he needed to be transported to a nearby hospital. The REMSA crew were two members, one whom was just getting signed off on his new recruit training and the amazing young woman working with him. They took the most incredible care of me and my son. They recognized my concern as we headed toward an uncertain future. I was so scared and she really eased my heart. They were so patient and kind and assured my son every step of the way as he asked questions. I did get the chance to thank them both but I wish I could have thanked them more.
