It was around March of 2017, and my sister in law Debra was not in the best of health, and had fallen in the restroom at our home. She was in such a weakened state, her legs would not cooperate and she was unable to pick herself up. Debra was hesitant to contact emergency services as she was embarrassed and did not want any type of judgement. Finally, an ambulance was called and the first responders who helped us were not only kind, but handled her in the gentlest of ways to ensure that she was comfortable and put her heart and mind at ease. I will never be able to thank them enough for their help with Debra. I know if she were here, she would be writing this herself.
