My husband was on his way to work at 3am when he was pulled over for speeding in a 35 mile an hour zone. He was going 45. The police asked where he was going so early in the morning and he replied to work and the policeman saw his uniform and said to just slow down because this time of morning many drunk drivers are around. Told him to be safe and have a great day. My husband was so appreciative and humbled by this police officer that he actually was cool enough just to make sure he was being safe. No ticket! He posted his story on social media that day last year.
