AWARENESS POST- Last night was the scariest night as a parent. We were getting ready for bed and next thing I know - Gino was NOT BREATHING! And everything from there happened so fast and spiraled downward quickly.

Gino thought a plastic ring was a piece of candy. These came from pre-stuffed Easter eggs that were given to us. I DID NOT CHECK WHAT WAS INSIDE THEM. Biggest mistake ever. But he’s 5 right? He should know not to put something in his mouth. WRONG. Don’t make the same mistake I made. 🥺 Thank you God for watching over us last night, as I know this could have been even worse. Thank you to our amazing City of Henderson Fire Department who took care of ALL of us in the ambulance ride. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at St.Rose Hospital Pediatric Ward. I will FOREVER be grateful to all the amazing angels who helped us last night. 😇
